Central Luzon Covid-19 cases near 8,000-mark

THE surge in the number of Covid-19 cases in Central Luzon has continued as active cases near 8,000, as of Friday, March 26, 2021.

Based on the Department of Health-Central Luzon report, there were 7,540 active cases in the region, which were about 22.4 percent of the total confirmed cases in Central Luzon.

From the said number of patients, 18 were in critical condition, 101 were in severe condition, 166 were manifesting moderate symptoms, 3,591 were manifesting mild symptoms, while 3,664 were asymptomatic.

The total number of confirmed cases as of Friday was 33,706 with 25,080 recoveries and 1,086 deaths.
