CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- Officers of the Police Regional Office in Central Luzon led by Acting Director Chief Superintendent Joel Coronel recently lighted up the giant Christmas tree in Camp Olivas.

“The 34-foot tall Christmas tree is the PRO-3’s simple idea in the spirit of Christmas,” Coronel said.

Coronel said the Christmas tree is the PRO-Central Luzon leadership’s gesture of gratitude to the Almighty that the entire region is spared from the series of natural disasters that hit the country as well as being grateful that the men and women of the police regional office hurdled the obstacles that came their way, both in the workplace and personal lives.

“As we light our tree, we, at the same time reflect on the real meaning of Christmas which is to follow the examples of Christ who was born in a stable and grew up to become a leader with a servant’s heart who taught us a message as simple as it is powerful: that we should love God, and love our neighbour as ourselves,” Coronel said.
