Covid-19 cases in Central Luzon now at 544

THE total number of coronavirus infections in Central Luzon have reached 544 as of May 22, 2020, the Department of Health (DOH) reported.

Of the 544 patients, 162 are still admitted, 117 have been discharged to undergo home quarantine and 206 have recovered.

The health department said 59 people have died from the virus in the whole region.

Bulacan has the highest number of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in Central Luzon, with 164 positive cases and 30 deaths.

Bataan recorded 144 positive Covid-19 cases, 51 recoveries, and 7 deaths.

Pampanga, on the other hand, has 95 positive cases, 11 deaths, and 35 recoveries.

The Pampanga information office logged 60 recoveries as of May 22 which does not tally with the DOH data.

Nueva Ecija has 53 positive cases while Tarlac has 36 and Zambales, 33.
