Covid-19 mortalities in Central Luzon now at 1,415

CORONAVIRUS disease (Covid-19) deaths in Central Luzon have climbed to a total of 1,415 cases, according to the latest bulletin of the Department of Health (DOH) in the region.

For April 15 alone, 31 deaths have been recorded in the whole region.

This, as the total number of confirmed cases continue to rise with at least 67,774 as of April 15.

The number of recoveries is currently at 71.5 percent, representing 48,471 cases.

Active cases in Central Luzon are currently at 17,887. Most of these are with mild symptoms accounting for 16,946 of all active cases.

Asymptomatic cases are currently at 35, 39 are considered moderate, 49 are severe and 18 are critical.

Bulacan has the highest number of confirmed cases at 31,787. Pampanga ranked second with 12,395 cases.

Fatality rate for Pampanga alone is at 2.77 percent, slightly higher than the provincial fatality rate of 2.07 as of April 14.
