Covid cases in Magalang on downward trend

THE number of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in Magalang town has been decreasing over the past three days.

This is based on the record of the local government unit (LGU) posted on its Facebook page.

On September 20, the LGU recorded only eight new cases of Covid-19.

The Municipal Health Office reported 12 cases on Saturday and 17 cases on Sunday.

No Covid-19 deaths were recorded over the last three days.

As of Monday, September 20, the total number of active cases in the town was 218.

Ninety-two residents had died from the disease.

Of the total 1,221 patients, the local government said that 1,184, representing 84.36 percent of the confirmed cases, had recovered from Covid-19.
