DHVSU Sto Tomas to open medical-allied courses

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - The Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) is set to open medical-allied courses this year.

On a Facebook post, fourth district Representative Anna York Bondoc disclosed that DHVSU Sto. Tomas campus will start offering a Bachelor of Science in Nursing by August.

The confirmation came after the provincial capitol has turned over the lot for the DHVSU - Sto. Tomas medical building.

The soon-to-rise building will be home to the DHVSU Sto Tomas School of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences.

Aside from nursing, Bondoc said Pharmacy, Medical Technology and Medicine courses are planned to be offered by 2024.

The turnover of the lot for DHVSU medical building was led by Governor Dennis Pineda, Vice Governor Lilia Pineda and DHVSU President Enrique Baking.

The event was witnessed by Bondoc, Sto. Tomas Mayor Johnny Sambo and Board Members Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab and Jun Canlas.
