Frontliner is 3rd Covid case in Porac town

THE Municipal Government of Porac reported that its third coronavirus disease (Covid-19) case is a frontliner from Barangay Pias who is working in a public hospital in Pampanga.

The frontliner, who has been caring for patients with Covid-19, was tested for the virus as a precautionary measure for health workers handling corona virus cases. The health worker’s test returned positive on April 4.

The patient is currently asymptomatic and is now isolated in a government hospital for medical care.

The Municipal Government of Porac reported its second case of coronavirus disease infection on Wednesday, April 1.

The town’s official advisory did not mention the barangay where the second infection was recorded. The second patient confirmatory tests came out on Wednesday. The patient is currently under hospital isolation.

The town’s first coronavirus case, a Grab driver, had already recovered after weeks of hospitalization in Marikina City. The man, who is 33 years old, is said to have a history of tuberculosis and hypertension.

There are still four people under investigation being monitored for possible corona virus infection in the town.
