THE Kadiwa Community Pantry On-Wheels of the Department of Agriculture (DA) Regional Field Office III-Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division made the rounds of communities in Pampanga, as it redistributed vegetable and fruits in Barangay Masamat, Mexico town, Bahay Pag-ibig, and Holy Angel Village in Telabastagan, City of San Fernando on May 4.

The pantry was launched on April 24 at the DA-Central Visayas office.

The Kadiwa Community Pantry started with just a few tables in front of the field office but it is now gradually touring Central Luzon to distribute aid now that there is a pandemic.

The vegetables such as eggplant, tomato, ampalaya, sesame and squash distributed in the pantry are from the own produce of the farmers of Central Luzon.

Kadiwa Community Pantry On-Wheels aims to reach other barangays in Central Luzon that need help.
