THE Kapampangan Development Foundation Inc. (KDFI) will launch on January 9, 2020 a new program for Central Luzon in celebration of its 33rd anniversary of service to Kapampangans and those in the region.

KDFI is launching its People with Disability (PWD) Community Based Rehabilitation Program (CBR) for Central Luzon with one day “Orientation on The Basics of Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR)” on January 9, 2020 from 8 to 5 p.m. at the Heroes Hall, Lazatin Boulevard, City of San Fernando.

KDFI is an organization of Kapampangans who live outside of the region, yearning to do their share in its social and economic development. It boasts of a continuing prosthesis program that gives artificial legs, wheelchairs and medical-surgical missions to Pampanga amputees.

KDF trustee Sylvia Ordonez said their group has continuously been doing its programs in Pampanga through its Jesus A. Datu Medical Center (JADMC) facility in Bacolor town.

Ordonez said that interested individuals may also visit any of the KDF facilities.

The KDF operates two medical centers: the KDF-JADMC (located in Bacolor, Pampanga) and the KDF-MVPMC (located in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga). Through these two medical centers, the KDF makes medical services for the disabled more accessible.

The foundation has recently expanded its programs to include free cataract, cleft palate and harelip surgeries to indigents.
