VICE Governor Lilia “Nanay Baby” Pineda is now running unopposed in her reelection bid in the May 2022 polls as her lone contender withdrew his certificate of candidacy (COC) on Monday, November 15, 2021.

Her lone rival, one Ricardo Guevarra, who filed his candidacy under the Liberal Party, withdrew his COC 4:30 p.m. Monday at the Commission on Elections provincial office.

The incumbent vice governor is running under the Kambilan Party with son and incumbent Governor Dennis Pineda, who is seeking a second term in office.
