Magalang records 7 new Covid-19 cases

THE local government of Magalang has recorded seven new cases of Covid-19 as of May 27, 2021.

Among the new patients is a 78-year-old woman from Barangay San Nicolas 1 and a 12-year-old girl also from said village.

Aside from these new cases, the Municipal Health Office also reported that six patients had recently recovered from the virus.

This brought the total number of confirmed active Covid-19 patients to 92.

The Magalang local government unit appealed to the public to always follow the minimum health standards set by the Department of Health (DOH) to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Mayor Romy Pecson said the local government is in the process of inoculating individuals included in the town's vaccination priority list.
