Magalang town records 12 new Covid-19 cases

THE local government in Magalang town, Pampanga has recorded 12 new cases of Covid-19 as of June 19, 2021, according to its Municipal Health Office.

The new patients included two senior citizens -- a 67-year-old woman (Patient 843) from Barangay Santa Lucia and a 66-year-old man from Barangay Dolores.

The Municipal Health Office also reported five new recoveries.

There were 62 active cases in the town as of June 19, according to the municipal government.

The local government unit is appealing to the public to always follow minimum health standards set by the Department of Health to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

Mayor Romy Pecson appealed to his constituents to register under the list of vaccine priority groups to avail of the government inoculation program.
