Magalang town records 2 Covid deaths, 26 new cases

AFTER three days of low-number cases, the local government unit (LGU) in Magalang town, Pampanga has recorded two new coronavirus disease (Covid-19) deaths and 26 new cases on Wednesday, September 22, 2021.

The new mortalities were from barangays San Isidro and San Francisco, the municipal health office stated.

The 26 new cases were from the villages of San Francisco, (6); Santa Maria (50); San Pedro (4); San Ildefonso (2); San Isidro (1); San Nicolas 1 (1); Santa Lucia (1); San Pedro 1 (1); Ayala (1); San Agustin (1); San Miguel (1); Santo Nino (1); and San Roque (1).

The Municipal Health Office also reported three new patient recoveries.

The patients were from barangays Santa Cruz (2) and San Vicente (1).

The LGU appealed to the residents to always follow the minimum health standard set by the Department of Health to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Mayor Romy Pecson ordered the distribution of food packs to the families of Covid-19 patients and individuals under quarantine.
