ANGELES City Mayor Carmelo Lazatin, Jr. established on Tuesday, March 31, two kitchens to provide free meals to people under quarantine.

Lazatin said the initiative to set up a kitchen for the patients is part of the measures undertaken by the city government to address the coronavirus pandemic.

According to Lazatin, this is to assure the well-being of persons under quarantine, as well as to maintain a thorough monitoring in assessing their condition.

Lazatin on March 30, 2020 designated the City College of Angeles (CCA) as the quarantine area for PERSONS UNDER MONITORING (PUMs), while container van facilities were already installed near Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center, also known as Ospital Ning Angeles (ONA), the Covid-19 center for patients under investigation (PUIs).
