BASES Conversion and Development Authority President and CEO Vivencio Dizon announced recently that the new access road from the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) to New Clark City will be open to the public as early as October 2019.

In a press conference held during the 1st Philippine National Open Swimming Championship at the Aquatics Center, Dizon said that with the new access road, one can reach New Clark City in 10 minutes or less.
