No new Covid cases in Mabalacat City

NO new Covid-19 cases were recorded by the local government since the start of June.

This was based on the city government's social media post Mabalacat City Covid-19 Update dated June 3, 2022.

On May 31, 2022, the local Covid-19 task force reported one new COVID -9 case and one patient recovery

.

One patient is now recovering from the virus, according to the task force.

A total of 8,827 residents here contracted the virus and some 8,587 of the patients recovered.

Meanwhile, the city's Covid response center has completed the inoculation of children in Barangays Sapang Biabas and Santa Ines.

Dr. Jay Rivera, head of the local Covid-19 response center, thanked the leaders in said villages including their Barangay Health Workers (BHWs).

Mayor Cris Garbo appealed to the constituents to continue practicing health protocols to prevent the spread of the virus.

The mayor earlier asked the residents to get vaccinated to get extra protection against Covid-19.
