VOLUNTEERS of the opposition senatorial slate Otso Deretso launched a door-to-door campaign and poll survey in Barangay Balibago, Angeles City Tuesday, February 12.

Former City Councilor Louie Reyes, coordinator of Otso Diretso Pampanga, said the move is in line with the group's nationwide campaign during the first day of the campaign period for the May 2019 mid-term elections.

The assembly was held at 9 a.m. Tuesday followed by the door-to-door campaign from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan on Monday said that the Otso Diretso senatorial bets would focus their legislative agenda on easing the lives of Filipino families.

He said the Otso Diretso bets based their agenda on the “people's hopes and fears from the nation-wide face-to-face listening “Project Makinig” which they launched in 2018.

Pangilinan is the campaign manager of Otso Diretso senatorial candidates Gary Alejano, Bam Aquino, Chel Diokno, Samira Gutoc, Pilo Hilbay, Romy Macalintal, Mar Roxas, and Erin Tanada.
