P1.1-M worth of dangerous drugs turned over to PDEA

MORE than a million worth of various illegal substances intercepted by Bureau of Customs (BOC)-Port of Clark were turned over to Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Central Luzon Thursday, June 18, at the Port of Clark, Mabalacat City.

PDEA Regional Director Lyndon Aspicio said some 960 grams of kush (hybrid type of cannabis) and six packs of hemp (variety of cannabis) rolling papers with an estimated street value of P1,100,000 were formally turned over to PDEA-Central Luzon for proper disposition.

He said the illegal drugs were intercepted at the port upon their arrival from Los Angeles California, USA.

"The illegal drugs were intended to be shipped to Dasmariñas, Cavite until its discovery and confiscation," he said.
