P3.4-M drugs seized from big-time peddler

A SUSPECTED big-time drug pusher was arrested by combined elements of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Central Luzon-Pampanga and Tarlac Provincial Offices, PDEA-Calabarzon and PDEA-Ilocos in a drug bust launched in Angeles City on December 2.

PDEA-Central Luzon Director Christian Frivaldo identified the suspect as Jayson Crisostomo, 27, who was allegedly the supplier of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu in Pampanga and Tarlac.

"Crisostomo is involved in the bulk distribution of shabu in Angeles City, Mabalacat City and nearby towns in Pampanga and Tarlac," he said.

Police were able to recover some 500 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P3.4 million, as well as various personal belongings.

Violation of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) of Article II of Republic Act 9165 will be filed against the suspect.
