P3.4-M worth of drugs seized in Angeles City

AGENTS of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Central Luzon seized some P3.4 million worth of illegal drugs during a buy-bust operation launched on Independence Day 2021.

PDEA-Central Luzon Director Christian Frivaldo identified the suspect as Miguel Omar, 35, a resident of Naga City.

Frivaldo said Omar was involved in the bulk distribution of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) in Angeles City and Mabalacat City.

Seized from the suspect were 500 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P3,400,000 and the marked money used in the operation.

A charge for violation of Section 5 (Sale of dangerous drugs) of Article II of Republic Act 9165 will be filed against the arrested suspect.
