Pampanga active Covid cases now at 372

ACTIVE coronavirus cases in Pampanga have again significantly increased to 372 with additional 34 new cases recorded on July 11, Monday.

The Department of Health’s (DOH) official coronavirus tracker places the total number of confirmed cases in Pampanga since the start of the pandemic at some 89,198 cases with 86,970 recoveries.

Coronavirus-related deaths in Pampanga have not increased from the 1,856 recorded cases since last month, according to the DOH.

Pampanga has reported 359 coronavirus cases in the last 14 days while Angeles City reported another 82 for the same period.

No virus-related death was recorded in the last 14-days.

The majority of the 45 health facilities in the province are now experiencing a slight increase in the number of bed occupancies.

The rate of occupancy in the region is currently at 9.9 percent, higher than in previous weeks. This means that only 72 of the total 652 hospital beds in Pampanga devoted to coronavirus cases are currently occupied.

Some 39 health facilities in Pampanga are currently at the safe level despite the slight increase in cases.
