Pampanga Covid-19 cases hit 243

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The number of confirmed coronavirus disease cases in Pampanga has reached 243, according to the July 24 bulletin of the Provincial Government of Pampanga.

Of the 243 confirmed cases, 140 have recovered while some 18 cases have died.

Cities with the highest number of cases include the City of San Fernando (38), Angeles City (32) and Mabalacat City (15). There are currently 34 active cases in three said cities.

Among the towns, Apalit, with 29 reported cases, still leads the tally of the most number of cases followed by San Luis (21) and Minalin (15). Most of the number of active cases in Pampanga are currently in the fourth district.

Other towns with considerable recorded cases include Santa Rita (13), Sasmuan (16), Lubao (12) and Mexico (nine).
