PDEA dismantles 2 drug dens in Mabalacat City

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO Two suspected drug dens were discovered in Mabalacat City during the conduct of buy-bust operations on Monday.

The makeshift drug dens were both located in Roxas Street, Barangay Dau in the said city.

They were immediately shut down and dismantled by operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Central Luzon Special Enforcement Section and the unit's Pampanga Provincial Office.

The two separate operations also resulted in the arrest of 13 individuals who were caught inside the illegal facilities.

Some 27 grams of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) worth P186,300, assorted drug paraphernalia, and marked money were also confiscated.

Cases for violation of Republic Act 9165 or otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects.
