THE Pampanga Electric Cooperative 2 (Pelco 2) has scheduled a power interruption on July 23 to give way for the extension of lines from Barangay Santa Ines to Barangay Bundagul in Mabalacat City.

The nine-hour power outage will start at 8 a.m. and will end at 5 p.m., the electric cooperative stated.

Affected areas include some parts of the city - Santa Maria starting at the Santa Ines-Santa Maria Bridge going to Ravena Homes and other areas in Barangay Bundagul going to the SMDC Cheerful Homes.

Pelco 2 said the project include the extension of the 69KV line starting in Barangay Mabiga up to Santa Maria substation and other maintenance works.

Meanwhile, the electric cooperative, in coordination with the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), also set another power interruption in all of its service areas in the towns of Guagua (all barangays), Santa Rita (all barangays), Sasmuan (all barangays), Lubao (all barangays), Porac (Barangay Salu), Bacolor (all barangays except Calibutbut and Maliwalu), and Floridablanca (Gutad and Anon).

The power interruption is scheduled at 8 am to 4 pm on the same date.

The NGCP and Pelco 2 are set to replace feeder lines, transformers and other maintenance works.
