PLDT, Smart Foundation donate medical equipment to Pampanga

REPRESENTATIVES from the PLDT and Smart Foundation presented Governor Dennis Pineda with several medical equipment donations in a bid to help the province in its ongoing effort to curtail the spread of the coronavirus.

The equipment, which were turned over recently, will be used in the testing of individuals for coronavirus symptoms.

PLDT and Smart Foundation donated one unit of Maccura Allsheng Auto-Pure 32A Extraction Machine; 192 units of Automatic RNA Extraction & PCR Test Kits; 192 Test Consumables for RNA Extraction and PCR Testing; and 192 units of Viral Transport Media (Nasopharyngeal Swab, Oropharyngeal Swab, Inactivated Preservation Medium).

Pineda thanked PLDT and Smart Foundation for the donations, stating that these will greatly help in capacitating laboratories and testing facilities in Pampanga.
