The whole seminar was facilitated by the Directorate for Plans (DPL) where Philippine National Police-DPL deputy director Anthony Alcaneses discussed the necessary knowhow regarding the implementation of the FOI to effectively carry out their duties and ensure the public of access to documents data and information which are required by law to be released to the public.

“This activity is timely as the PNP advocates transparency and is committed to disclose to the public, any and all information involving public interest under its custody, subject to the limitations as provided for under the Constitution and applicable Philippine laws, rules, regulations and procedures, the master list of exception issued by the Office of the President, as well as the list of exceptions identified by the PNP,” Corpus said.
