Porac Aetas get garden tools, seeds from DA

THE Department of Agriculture (DA)-Regional Field Office in Central Luzon led the Kabuhayan at Kaunlaran ng Kababayang Katutubo (4Ks) Program in Barangay Inararo in Porac town.

The program included the distribution of assorted lowland vegetable seeds, 243 pieces of various garden tools and one unit of power tiller to the Aeta Organization of Samasama sa Kaunlaran para sa Pagsulong ng Barangay Ayta Inararo Incorporated.

With the launch of the 4Ks program, the department aims to distribute selected seed crops, breeding animals and planting materials to Indigenous Peoples (IPs).

The department also shared knowledge on building and strengthening the organization and the necessary training to grow the seeds to be distributed to respective farms.
