Porac Ayta community mount photo exhibit

AYTA community leaders are currently hosting a photo exhibit on the area of the Ayta Indigenous People which is being developed into an eco-tourism destination.

The photo exhibit which opened on July 4 Hacienda Gracia Resort and Hotel in features the Keluad, a river, and a lake with crystal clear waters in the upland barangay of Kamias in Porac town. The event is in partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).

The event was graced by DENR Central Luzon Assistant Regional Director Laudemir Salac, Ayta Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (IPMR) Edwin Abuque, and Indigenous Peoples Political Council Leader Benny Capuno graced.

Also present were Ayta Youth leader Bim Iana Capuno, DENR National Youth Development Officer Louise Gonzales, DENR Strategic Communication and Initiatives Service – Stakeholders Management and Conflict Resolution Division chief Julie Ibuan and DENR Climate Change Services DMO Imelda Matubis.
