PORAC -- Mayor Condralito dela Cruz announced Tuesday, January 22, the turnover of a new ambulance worth P2.2 million from the Department of Health to the Municipal Government of Porac.

Dela Cruz said the new ambulance will augment the current number of ambulances to cater to the medical emergencies of local residents.

He said it will be a great help to the town, which has the biggest land area in the province.

“We have eastern and western Porac which are far from one another and separated by the Mega Dike. We also have mountain villages where our Aeta communities live,” Dela Cruz said.

Dela Cruz added that the town will also have its own dental bus before the month of May. The dental bus will enable the municipal government to bring much needed dental services to barangays here.

The mayor said the dental bus will be under the Municipal Health Office and will be manned by the resident dentists of the municipality along with the town’s health providers.
