PRO-Central Luzon chief leads cops in 50-km inspection run

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- The police director of Central Luzon led the 50-kilometer inspection run which symbolizes the sacrifice of frontliners and sending a strong message to the people of Central Luzon to stay at home while the frontliners are risking their lives to contain the continuous spread of Covid-19 in the country.

Police Brigadier General Rhodel Sermonia led his men and women in the 50-kilometer inspection run of all control/checkpoints which started along the stretch of Valenzuela-Meycauayan boundary, MacArthur Highway to Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga on Wednesday night, May 6.

The Police Regional Office (PRO) - Central Luzon chief inspected the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) checkpoints and reminded his personnel to keep on implementing the ECQ guidelines strictly.

“Aside from appealing to our public to stay at home, this is also one way of challenging them to become physically fit amidst this pandemic because during these trying times, our health is our only wealth,” Sermonia said. (PR)
