ANGELES CITY—A local production company based here is set to host a pride parade on June 30, 2023.

GFP Creative Productions will host "Ultimate Pride Parade of Rainbows in Dalan" which aims to promote and support gender equality as well as the identity and romantic orientations of LGBTQIA+ communities in the country.

GFPCP executives, led by Chief Executive Officer Patricia Cortez, said the parade is a combination of fun, arts, music, and competition.

The parade will be an annual event in Angeles City, nearby provinces in Central Luzon and different provinces in other regions.

The activities for the culmination of the event include a float parade, a fashion show, and drag queen appearances and performances.

Since its pilot in June 1970, thousands of LGBT+ people have gathered to demonstrate equal rights.

In the Philippines, since the First Pride March in 1994, the LGBT community has continued to celebrate this event every June, where both LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies gather together. As of May 2020, Central Luzon’s population of LGBTQIA+ totaled 12,422,172 (Philippine Statistics Authority).

The GFP Creative Production team is composed of Chief Operating Officer Cristelle Pauline Adaya; Vice President Gervigory Adaya; Business and Finance Lead Flor Emmanuel Adaya; Marketing Lead Mark Anthony Adaya; Managing Partner Frederick Policarpio; Managing Director Cecille Sanchez; organizers Barbie Alcantara and Sam Manuel; PR and media Marna Del Rosario.
