San Simon rolls out vaccine in barangays

IN A bid to encourage more residents of San Simon to get jabbed against coronavirus disease (Covid-19), the local government has started rolling out vaccines in barangays.

Mayor Abundio Punsalan Jr. said they held the pilot barangay vaccination rollout in remote area of Concepcion.

As of Friday, January 28, Punsalan said they already finished going around eight barangays, while the remaining six are scheduled within this February.

While barangay vaccination drive is ongoing, Punsalan said there is also inoculation at the vaccination center at the Local Government Center to cater to those who are not from the scheduled barangay.

Aside from residents, Punsalan said they are also welcoming non-residents who wish to get vaccinated, either for first dose or booster dose.
