School-on-the-air program launched

THE Department of Agriculture Central Luzon through the Regional Agricultural and Fisheries Information Section hosted the Ceremonial Launching of School-on-the-Air on Smart Rice Agriculture (SOA-SRA) at the Bulwagan ng Bayan in San Ramon, Dinalupihan town in Bataan.

SOA-SRA aims to increase the Palay Performance of the Farmers in Bataan. The purpose of this program is to prevent the threat in climate change and global warming through sustainable education of their fields of small holder farmers and them to identify Smart Rice Agriculture Technologies and Practices.

Bataan APCO Marilou Ramos, RAFIS Chief Ozanne Ono Ocampo, Provincial SOA-SRA Coordinator Louie Rodis, and Ramir T. Panlaqui in behalf of Mayor Gila Garcia led the distribution of radio sets to the farmer-enrollees.

The first airing will be on June 30, 2022.
