Sexagenarian contracts Covid-19

A 66-YEAR-OLD man residing in Magalang has contracted the coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

The patient, named M129 from Barangay San, was exposed to a family member who earlier tested positive for the virus.

He is confined in government facility and his family members are now under quarantine.

The Municipal Health Office also reported the town's 128th case and the patient is from the same village.

Mayor Romy Pecson announced to his constituents that another patient had recovered from the virus. He said that 100 individuals out of the total 129 patients have recovered.

Pecson said there are 19 active cases as of December 2, 2020.

The local government said 10 residents had died from the virus.

The LGU appealed to the public to follow minimum health standards set by the Department of Health to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the municipality.
