SM SUPERMALLS in Central Luzon have offered free charging stations and assistance to individuals affected by blackouts caused by Typhoon Ulysses.

SM City Clark, SM City Pampanga, SM City Tarlac, SM City Olongapo Central and SM City Olongapo Downtown have offered the same services to their customers and even to individuals affected by blackouts in their areas.

Affected individuals were allowed to charge their mobile phones as these are essential for easy-access to communication and information. Some also charged power banks and rechargeable fans.

Earlier, the SM malls have all waived overnight parking fees for customers seeking temporary shelters at their mall.

SM Foundation is on standby to extend relief assistance through its Operation Tulong Express program in close coordination with local officials in affected barangays and the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
