Tesda gives free food to frontliners in Orion

THE Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) gave free food to frontliners combating the spread of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in Orion town, Bataan.

Tesda Bataan Provincial Director Julie Ann Banganan said 100 pieces each of freshly-baked cheese and vanilla cupcakes, and rice cake were given to medical workers, barangay officials and police officers stationed in the town.

Moreover, 50 packs of spaghetti were distributed to disinfecting team and frontliners stationed at checkpoints in Barangay Wawa, Orion.

“The delicacies were prepared at the house of the trainer, while spaghetti was cooked at Tesda Provincial Training Center in Orion led by Officer-in-Charge Aida Estacio,” Banganan stated.

“With the help of Municipal Administrator Noel Gloria, the trainer was given a pass to buy necessary materials for the baking of delicacies. The local government unit of Orion, under Mayor Antonio Raymundo, provided service vehicle for the trainer,” she furthered. (PIA-Central Luzon)
