'Tulong Dunong Program' benefits 178 students in Santa Rita town

ONE hundred seventy-eight college students from Santa Rita town, Pampanga benefitted from the scholarship program "Tulong Dunong" that aims to help college students with their tertiary education.

The scholarship program is being implemented by the Commission on Higher Education in partnership with the office of Second District Representative Juan Miguel Arroyo.

On September 17, 2020, each of the 178 college student-beneficiaries received checks worth P7,500 per semester.

These checks were distributed by Santa Rita Mayor Ferdinand L. Salalila, Vice Mayor Romeo L. Valencia, Sangguniang Bayan members Rico H. Sta. Cruz, Jesus R. Manalo, Edison S. Cubacub, Orlando C. Santos, Arthur M. Salalila, Jr., Mercedita B. Carreon and Kimberly A. Cosme.

Arroyo was represented by Peter Dabu.
