A SUSPECTED peddler of illegal drugs was arrested by operatives from various units of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Tondo, Manila on Monday afternoon, September 14.

PDEA-Central Luzon Director Christian Frivaldo identified the suspect as Belinda Buzon, 32, a resident of Binondo, Manila.

Frivaldo said Buzon was arrested by personnel of PDEA Tarlac and Pampanga, Calabarzon and Special Enforcement Services in a fastfood parking in Tondo.

The arrest of the suspect yielded some 100 gram of shabu worth P680,000 and the buy-bust money.

A charge for violation of section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) Article II of Republic Act 9165 is being readied for filing in court.
