FLEXING power in the homecourt and might on the hoop, the Pampanga Delta squad dominated the Laguna Pistons and Mindoro Tamaraws in an action-packed weekend of the ongoing NBL Chooks-To-Go Chairman’s Cup at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

On Saturday, September 18, 2021, Deltan Florencio Serrano celebrated his birthday happily after dethroning the Tamaraws 130-83. Serrano led the boards with 26 with the help of Hernandez who poured in 17, Tamayo-13, Yong-13, Gania-11, Liangco-11, Garcia- 10, J. Santos- 10, R. Santos-6, Dyke-4, David-3, Baluyut-2, Binuya-2, and Pascual-2.

Sunday, September 19, Levi Hernandez led the Delta five in rusting on the Laguna Pistons, 116-73, conquering the hoop with 35, along with double digits from Gania (13), Serrano (12), Yong (12) and R. Santos (10).

Both Serrano and Hernandez were named HeiHei Chicken Burger Best Player of the Game in the weekend outings. (JTD)
