2 most wanted persons arrested in Leyte, Eastern Samar

TWO most wanted persons on Friday, August 30, were arrested in Capoocan, Leyte and General MacArthur, Eastern Samar.

Capoocan Municipal Police Station led by Captain Arnel Sarigumba said they nabbed Maximino Pirante Jr., 55, the top two most wanted person of Capoocan town.

Pirante, a resident of Barangay Libertad, Capoocan was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest dated March 12, 2009 for the crime of frustrated murder docketed under criminal case no. 4950 issued by Honorable Crisostomo Garrido, presiding judge of Carigara Regional Trial Court in Carigara, Leyte.

Recommended bail bond for Pirante is P200,000.

In Eastern Samar, elements from General MacArthur Municipal Police Station led by Chief Master Sergeant Rodolfo Sabejon Jr, arrested Deo Campo, top one most wanted person of the said town.

Campo, 30, single, farmer and resident of Gen. Macarthur was nabbed by virtue of warrant of arrest dated October 5, 2017 issued by Honorable Rolando Lacdo-o, presiding judge, 8th Judicial Region Branch 03 in Guiuan, Eastern Samar.

The accused is facing the crime of rape docketed under criminal case no. 2900 and with no recommended bail bond. (SunStar Philippines)
