ANOTHER man was shot and killed in Calbayog City Friday, January 22, 2021, a day after a motor-riding assailant gunned down a 67-year-old man Thursday.

Police identified the victim as Michael Salvador Derio, 30, jobless and a resident of Barangay Nijaga, Calbayog.

Three unidentified suspects alighted from a van and shot the victim using long firearms while he was sitting on his motorcycle around 7:45 a.m. Friday along Barangay Rizal in the city.

Derio was hit in the different parts of his body that resulted in his instantaneous death, police said.

Authorities are investigating the incident. (SunStar Philippines)
