The victim was identified as Rene Superior, 41, married and councilor of Barangay Libongao, Kananga town.

Responding policemen from Kananga Municipal Police Office, led by Major Ariel Salarda, found the victim already lying face down, with blood on the asphalt road next to his crashed motorcycle when they arrived at the scene around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 15, in Sitio Mahayahay, Barangay Libongao.
