Landslide hits Eastern Samar village

NONSTOP rains caused a landslide that covered a portion of the road in a village in Taft, Eastern Samar Friday morning, January 3.

No one was killed or injured in the incident, which occurred around 10:30 a.m. Friday in the village of Binaloan in Taft, said barangay captain Edwin Vinas.

Responding policemen from Taft led by Lieutenant Ruben Pascual Caspe said the landslide covered a portion of the road, rendering it not passable to all kinds of vehicles.
