Missing fisherman found dead in Southern Leyte

NINE days after he went missing, a fisherman was found dead off Barangay Hingatungan in Silago, Southern Leyte Sunday afternoon, June 16.

Authorities identified the victim as Almer Tomol, 36, married, a resident of Barangay Sap-ang in Silago.

Tomol, whose body was already in a state of decomposition, was also positively identified by his elder sister, Ailene Silda.

The victim has been missing since the morning of June 8.
