PDEA, police nab drug personality in Biliran

A JOINT operation of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Philippine National Police (PNP) led to the arrest of a newly identified drug personality in Naval, Biliran on April 9.

PDEA Regional Director Edgar Jubay identified the suspect as Jude Ebajo Valirie, 29, jobless, a resident of Naval.

During the anti-drugs operation, authorities retrieved from Valirie three plastic sachets of substance believed to be shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) weighing MOL 1 gram and with an estimated value of P6,800.

Valirie will face charges for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165. (SunStar Philippines)
