University employee nabbed in drug bust

JOINT operatives of the Philippine National Police and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit arrested Wednesday, September 18, a university worker for illegal drugs possession.

Authorities identified the suspect as Ted Paulo Clemencio, 34, married, administrative aide of a university in Carigara, Leyte.

Clemencio, who was nabbed in a drug bust, has been in the drug watchlist of the town police.

The drug bust happened around 6:20 p.m. Wednesday in a barangay in Carigara.

The operatives purchased from the suspect one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride).
