2 drug personalities nabbed in Zamboanga del Norte

TWO persons, whose names are in the drug watch list, were arrested in separate anti-drug operations in the province of Zamboanga del Norte, the police reported.

Police Brigadier General Jesus Cambay, Jr., Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula director, identified the arrested suspects as Ariel Alagon, 43, and Genimar Feras, 35.

Cambay said Alagon was caught in possession of P500 worth of suspected shabu and P500 marked money in a buy-bust operation around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday in Turno village, Dipolog City, the capital of Zamboanga del Norte.

Feras was arrested in a law enforcement operation by way of service of search warrant around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday also in Turno village, Dipolog City.

Cambay said recovered from Feras were some P95,000 worth of suspected shabu and several illegal drug paraphernalia.

The suspects were detained while formal charges are set to be filed against them, Cambay said. (SunStar Zamboanga)
