2 injured in Zamboanga dynamite blast

A FISHERMAN and his son were injured in a dynamite explosion on Tuesday, October 2, offshore Zamboanga City, the police reported.

The Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) identified the victims as Aguban Abdurajak, 28, and his son, Munjan, eight, of Arena Blanco village, this city.

Investigation showed that Abdurajak, accompanied by his son, were fishing when the lighted dynamite exploded before he was able to throw it into the water.

The police said that Abdurajak sustained multiple injuries and right fingers amputated while his son suffered head injuries.
