2 top most wanted persons, another 1 nabbed

THREE people, including two top most wanted persons, were arrested in separate manhunt operations, the police reported Sunday.

Police Major Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office-Zamoanga Peninsula information officer, identified them as the following: Bernandino Elopre, 41, the Top 4 most wanted person in Concepcion, Misamis Occidental; Niel Ian Alvarado, 21, Top 6 most wanted person in Sibutad, Zamboanga del Norte; and, Eugenio Gailanan, 36.

Galvez said Elopre was arrested around 11:30a.m. Saturday at Sitio Otso in the village of Kilalaban, Baliguian, Zamboanga del Norte.

Elopre has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of rape with P120,000 recommended bail issued on March 15, 2014 by the court of Calamba Misamis Occidental.

Galvez said Alvarado was arrested around 10:10 p.m. Saturday in the village of Labangon, Cebu City.

Alvarado has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of rape with P200,000 recommended bail issued on November 21, 2018 by the court of Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte.

Galvez said Gailanan was arrested around 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the village of Princesa Lmamaya, Sergio Osmeña, Zamboanga del Norte.

She added that Gailanan has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of murder with no recommended bail issued on August 9, 2019 by the court of Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay. (SunStar Philippines)
