3 wanted persons nabbed in Zambo Norte

THREE wanted persons, including one listed as top two fugitive, were arrested in separate manhunt operations in the province of Zamboanga del Norte, the police said.

Police Major Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the arrested wanted persons as the following: Roniel Obordo, 24; Donato Ego-ogan, 48; and Elmar Tumapon, 36.

Galvez said Obordo, who is the top two most wanted in Dapitan City, was arrested around 12:10 a.m. Monday at Purok Nangka in Tamion village, Dapitan City.

She said Obordohas standing warrant of arrest for the crime of murder with no recommended bail issued by the court of Dipolog City.

The police official said Ego-ogan was arrested around 1:20 p.m. Monday in Causwagan village, Liloy town.

Ego-ogan has standing warrant of arrest for violation of Republic Act 9262 otherwise known as The Anti-Violence against Women and their Children Act of 2004 with recommended bail of P80,000, she added.

Galvez said Tumapon, who has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of estafa, was arrested around 9:30 p.m. Monday in Nangcaan village, Rizal town.
